Parole Austria—C. Signs Bourbon—Turky.

Colonel C. Hall is appointed to superintend the Hospital at Brunswick and relieve Colonel Beauford1—He will call at the Orderly-Office for his instructions.

Alexander Scammell’s orderly book entry for this date includes the following additional general order: “1 Capt. 1 Sub: 2 sarjeants and 45 R[ank] & F[ile] from Genl Muhlenbergs Brigade for fatigue Tomorrow to parade at 9 oClock in the morning.” (orderly book, 22 Dec. 1778–26 June 1779, DNA: RG 93, Orderly Books, 1775–1783, vol. 28).
