From John J. U. Rivardi

Niagara [New York] August 8, 1799. Again requests extra pay for soldiers doing extra work.1 Reports that he has hired a boat “to remove the Garrison of Oswego.”2 States that “Several of our men are unwell.” Discusses the repair of Fort Niagara.
