8 January 1811. “He does not interfere as to the appointment of Marshall but he feels it due to his kinsman, Ebenezer Granger, to submit the enclosed letter to the Presidents perusal.”

RC (DNA: RG 59, LAR, 1809–17, filed under “Granger”). 1 p. Enclosure not found, but it probably related to the vacancy for the office of U.S. marshal for Ohio.
