General Orders
Head Quarters, Cambridge, April 3rd 1776
Parole Liverpool.Countersign Exeter.
The Brigade under the Command of Brigadier Genl Spencer, to march to morrow morning at sun rise—Carriages will be provided this Afternoon by the Assistant Qr Mr General; and the Adjutant General will send the marching Orders to the Colonels commanding divisions.1
Genl Spencer will receive his Orders this Afternoon at five O’Clock, at Head Quarters.

1. Gen. Joseph Spencer’s marching brigade consisted of three regiments from his old brigade at Roxbury (Samuel Holden Parson’s, Jedediah Huntington’s, and Samuel Wyllys’s regiments) and two regiments from Gen. John Thomas’s old Roxbury brigade (Ebenezer Learned’s and Jonathan Ward’s regiments). See General Orders, 31 Mar. 1776.
