From Colonel William Bond

New York, 20 April 1776. Recommends various officers for promotion to fill vacancies in his regiment created by Lt. Col. Nathaniel Cudworth’s discharge.1

DS, owned (1979) by Dr. W.S. Gibbs Sunbury, Pa; Sprague transcript, DLC:GW. Gen. Nathanael Greene supports Bond’s recommendations in a note written and signed by him at the end of this document.

1Capt. Nathan Fuller of Bond’s 25th Continental Regiment replaced Cudworth, while several of the regiment’s junior officers and a sergeant were advanced one rank each to fill the resulting vacancies down the chain of command.
