To Stephen Sayre

Thursday Noon [Mount Vernon] 15th July [1784].

General Washington presents his Compliments to Mr Sayre and requests the favor of his Company at Dinner tomorrow—and any Gentleman of his acquaintance in Alexandria he may incline to bring with him.1
