Letter not found: from Rodolph Valltravers, 17 Aug. 1791. Valltravers described to GW on 30 Nov. his letter to GW of “Augt 17” from Rotterdam “by Captn Wm Callahan.”1
1. Valltravers noted that Callahan’s vessel, the Pringle, was “bound for Charlestown; charged with a Packet for my old Friend, H. Laurence, Esqre containing Proposals for the Congress, & for several patriotic Societies established at Charlston, Newbern, Cambridge” (Valltravers to GW, 30 Nov., DNA: RG 59, Miscellaneous Letters).
