If Mr. Hamilton has recd. the letters from & to Mr. Brackenridge1 Mr Coxe will thank him for them by the Bearer. It will require some part of this day & to Morrow to copy the latter.2
Col. Miller3 is not expected for several Days.

1. Coxe is referring to a letter, dated August 8, 1794, which Hugh H. Brackenridge wrote to him and his answer to Brackenridge of August 26, 1794. For this correspondence, see H to George Washington, August 15, 1794.
2. At the bottom of Coxe’s letter printed above H wrote the following: “I requested by a note to see you this morning at my house. The above letter was one subject. Yrs AH. Augt 28 94.” See H to Coxe, August 28, 1794.
