From Thomas Jefferson

[Philadelphia] 5th June 1793

Th: Jefferson with his respects to the President has the honor to enclose him the answer to his note of yesterday.1 Should any article of it need explanation, he will be at the orders of the President for that purpose to do it either verbally or in writing.2
