From Alexander Hamilton

[Philadelphia] 9 Augt 1793

The Secretary of the Treasury has the honor to present his respects to The President of the U. States and to send him the enclosed which is just come to hand by post.1 The Secretary would wait upon the President personally with it, but for the lateness of the hour.
