[Philadelphia] June 12. 1793.
Th: Jefferson has the honor of inclosing to the President the opinion on the two cases of vessels referred to the Heads of the department, and the letter he has prepared in consequence to the Attorney of the district. Genl Knox will wait on him with his letter to the Governor.1 Symmes’s case is to be considered of tomorrow, as it required some enquiry.2
