Thomas Kirkpatrick, of Fairfax County, was in 1782 head of a household of two whites and one black (
, 16). He signed the resolution forming the Virginia nonimportation association, in Williamsburg in 1770, as a merchant from Alexandria ( , 3:79). Thomas Kilpatrick, probably the same man, was a wheat purchaser and inspector of flour at Alexandria in 1775 ( , 417).
