To Thomas Jefferson

[Philadelphia] Monday 31st [December 1792]1

Dear Sir,

If you have not closed your letter to Mr Pinckney I wish you would desire him to be very attentive to the embarkation of Troops for America—especially Quebec—& to give the earliest advice of the measure—& of the numbers2—Yours &ca
