Providence, December 8, 1791. “… Having recd. a Letter from the Master of the Cutter Argus, informing me, that the Schooner Alice was at Anchor about Four Miles from Rhode-Island LightHouse when his Mate boarded her, I have this day requested the District Attorney2 to commence a Prosecution against Captain Andrus.”
