To Benjamin Lincoln

Treasury Department, March 5, 1792. “It is probable that Treasury draughts in favour of the commissioner of loans of New Hampshire1 to the extent of 6000 Dollars will be directed to you, which I request you to pay, together with such sums as shall be presented to you in the like draughts by the Commissioner of Your state,2 towards payment of the interest for the accruing quarter.”
