To Nicholas Olive
New York, September 4, 1795. Acknowledges receipt of Olive’s “letter of yesterday.”1 States that Olive’s dispute with his “late partners” has been referred to arbitrators, who will either transfer “the management … of your late partnership” or “constitute an indifferent person as Receiver and Agent for it.”2
