The President sends to the Secretary of State the Counterpart of An Agreement with the Bank of the U.S. for 800,000 dollars, to have the ratification prepared in the usual way for the President’s signature.

Enclosure: Agreement between the Secretary of the Treasury and the Bank of the United States, 31 May 1793, by which the Bank agrees to loan the United States a total of $800,000 in equal installments to be advanced on 1 June, 1
