D, DLC:GW; ALB, DLC:GW. The ALB copy varies somewhat from the invoice sent with the letter. GW ordered the goods on 6 Mar. 1765, and the invoice from Crosbies & Trafford for the goods was sent with its letter of 3 Aug. 1765.

1In their letter of 3 Aug. 1765, Crosbies & Trafford indicate that Henry McCabe was captain of the firm’s Virginian when GW shipped the four hogsheads on 6 March.
