John Moorey was a trading partner in Robert Cary & Company.

1Letter not found.

2For further correspondence about Robert Horner’s debt, see GW’s letters to Moorey, 23 Sept. 1761 and c.1 Oct. 1761. This is probably Robert Horner (1718–c.1773), a tobacco merchant in Charles County, Md., who moved to Prince William County sometime after his marriage to Ann Brown Claggett (1732–1800) in about 1758.
