Your favr of yesterday’s Date I have just Rec’d by the Return Express and shall be laid before Congress to morrow morning.
I have only time to Inclose you sundry Resolutions pass’d in Congress since my last, to which I Request your Attention, I also inclose you a Letter from the Come of Congress.1 I have the Honour to be with Esteem, Sir Your most Obedt Servt

I have Sent four Bundles of printed Resolves, which you will please to order to be distributed among the Officers.2

1. See a Committee of the Continental Congress to GW, this date. The enclosed resolutions of this date concern the establishment of a camp on the west side of the Delaware River, the directing of GW to send the Board of War a list of the officers whom he had appointed under the powers granted him by Congress and copies of the commissions that he had issued, procedures for paying militia reinforcements, the sending of Gen. Edward Hand to Fort Pitt “to take measures for the defence of the western frontiers,” and the rank and appointment of the mustermaster general and several deputies (DLC:GW; see also , 7:250–52).
