1Donald Fraser (ca. 1754–1820), a Scottish-born author of a wide miscellany of writings on historical, literary, moral, and political subjects, evidently enclosed a copy of his Compendium of the History of All Nations (New York, 1807; Shaw and Shoemaker description begins R.
