From John Adams to Timothy Pickering, 5 November 1798

Quincy Nov 5th 1798

Sir

I return you all the parchments signed & pray you to fill the blanks as you proposed in your letter of the 27 Oct. I have recd also your other letter of the same date & thank you for the copies of Chauvets letter. I enclose a letter from Malborne recommending Dr Enoch Hazard to be a surgeon which I pray you to consider.
