Genl Sullivan’s Brigade to be mustered upon Monday Morning next in the manner and form, directed by the General Orders of the 21st Inst.1

Varick transcript, DLC:GW. The manuscript is incorrectly dated 27 August. A comparison with Artemas Ward’s orderly book shows that the date should be 26 Aug. (MHi: Ward Papers).

1. Sullivan’s brigade was not mustered until Friday, 1 Sept. (General Orders, 21, 22, 28 Aug. 1775).
