Tobias Lear to Thomas Jefferson

[Philadelphia] May 15th 1793

The President of the United States approves of the enclosed Letter to Mr Hammond, and likewise of that to Mr Rawle.1

AL, DLC: Jefferson Papers. At the bottom of the manuscript page, Jefferson wrote, “viz. the letter of May 14. 93.”
