1GW paid 12s. 6d. to “[James] Patterson in Wmsburg repairing Mrs Lee’s Watch.” Col. 4Anthony Hay, who was a cabinetmaker in Williamsburg, bought the Raleigh Tavern in the town from William Trebell in 1767 and kept the tavern until his death in 1770. He was married to Elizabeth Davenport.
